Clinic Policies & Important Information

• Appointments are limited to the concern booked; additional issues may require another visit.Meet-and-greet visits are brief; follow-up may be scheduled or managed via secure messaging.

• Patients must register with the lab and MyChart; we do not contact patients or share lab reports.LifeLabs provides Cornwall lab information; other labs (e.g., GMH) should be contacted directly.

• Walk-in clinics and urgent care (including Walmart clinics) may be used if we are unable to assist. Medical matters cannot be discussed or addressed for absent patients.

​

• Prescription renewals must be requested by your pharmacy; no fee applies.

​

• Dr. Lacroix does not provide psychotherapy; mental health services are typically privatized and psychiatrist access is limited.

​

• Duplicate referrals are not provided; wait times are outside our control.

​

• Dr. Lacroix works exclusively from a home-based office.

​

• Appointments are generally conducted with the patient alone, except for children accompanied by a parent/guardian or patients with significant cognitive impairment.

​

• The clinic is not currently wheelchair accessible; accessibility is planned for Spring 2026.

​

• Bullying, aggressive behaviour, or monopolizing clinic time is not acceptable.
