Clinic Policies
Dr. Lacroix is affiliated with the Moose Creek Medical Centre but does not work there. Please do not present yourself at the Moose Creek Medical Centre. For all inquiries, we ask that you email or call our office. Dr. Lacroix operates from his dedicated home office, allowing for a more personalized and focused consultation environment. We understand that knowing the exact location is key, and we will be happy to provide Dr. Lacroix's home office address to you directly once we have successfully scheduled your meet and greet appointment. PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow walk ins. Please do not present yourself at Dr. Lacroix’s home office without an appointment.
We don't send detailed personal health information via e-mail. We generally use e-mail to request you contact our office or to notify you about appointments (specialist appointments made on your behalf, changes to appointments, appointment reminders, or "no show" fees due to missed appointments). In order to receive email updates, you must agree to our email consent policy.
Prescription Renewal Request
To streamline the prescription renewal process and ensure accurate and timely refills, we kindly request that you initiate all renewal requests through your pharmacy. Please do not call or email our office directly for renewals. Instead, contact your pharmacy and ask them to fax a prescription renewal request to our office; your pharmacy already has our designated fax number. This method helps us maintain organized records and ensures we receive the specific information needed for your refill. Please ensure you make this request on your last remaining repeat to avoid any interruption in your medication. Allow our office up to 15 business days to process the renewal. If, after this timeframe, your pharmacy informs you that they have not received the renewed prescription information from our office, you are then welcome to contact us either by phone or email for assistance. This approach allows us to efficiently manage a high volume of requests and serve our patients effectively.
Booking an appointment
When booking an appointment, please identify the reason for your visit as accurately as possible. This allows the length of the appointment and the need for urgent availability to be triaged appropriately. Please also advise at the time of booking if you require a form or note to be completed, as this can affect the length of the visit. We book non-urgent appointments up to a maximum of three months in advance; the schedule is liable to change at dates further in advance and may require rescheduling. We book urgent appointments on a same-day and next-day basis. If your child or family member requires an appointment as well, please advise our staff when booking. Each patient requires their own appointment to allow adequate time to address individual issues.
Harassment
